I have spent the last 10 years in the jewelry business and never looked back. Traveling to countries such as Turkey, Peru, Nepal, Tokyo and most often India, I fell in love with discovering artisans in different countries that all have a unique aesthetic that is all their own. I would travel to India, most notably the city of Jaipur in Rajasthan. Jaipur is known as the Pink City for its pink colored walls of the city. It has a magic charm and I felt a deep connection to the city from the beginning. The brass jewelry plating is a little brighter and the semi precious stone quality is beautiful. They take such care to each detail. The city is known for their expertise in jewelry. I chose to start my line here because I love the old world city and all that it embodies. I have made good relationships with the artisans there and want to share their hard work and my design direction with the world! There is something about jewelry is special and personal. These pieces are designed for the adventurous, kind, free spirited and powerful woman that has no bounds. Traveling to India numerous times over the years I always come back feeling so grateful for what we have. It is impossible not to notice the enormous gap between how the rich and the poor live. I found the Invisible Girl Project because I wanted a way to give back to the community, especially the women and children in India.
